KYLESA's New Album To Receive Vinyl Release In March
January 6, 200920 Buck Spin will release the vinyl version of the fourth studio album from Savannah, Georgia's KYLESA, titled "Static Tensions", in March. The regular edition will be a single LP with an eight-page LP-size booklet. A "deluxe" version will also be made available, limited to 500 copies. That version will be a gatefold 2xLP mastered at 45 RPM housed in a full-color foil-stamped slipcase and will come with the booklet as well as an A2-sized poster. The deluxe version will be on colored wax. Orders direct from 20 Buck Spin for either version will probably also get a patch and sticker (not confirmed). All artwork is being done by John Dyer Baizley of BARONESS. 20 Buck Spin is releasing this in North America only. The La Familia label will handle the European version of the LP (and is also planning to exclusively sell copies of the deluxe version in Europe).
"Static Tensions" will be releasd in CD format on the Prosthetic label.
KYLESA will tour Japan for the first time in February. The seven-show trek will coincide with the official Japanese release of the band's acclaimed 2006 album, "Time Will Fuse Its Worth", on Red Cobalt Industries. Additional information about the limited-edition release, which features new artwork and packaging, can be found on the band's MySpace page.
Before heading to Japan, KYLESA will perform three shows alongside crust legends AMEBIX.
